Timothy "Timmy" Bradford Sharpton

Home-Going Service will be held May 06, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Harvest of Hope Fellowship, for Timothy “Timmy” Bradford Sharpton, age 57, of Centre, AL, who left this earth for his heavenly home on May 02, 2025. Reverend Wendell Prophitt, and Chaplain Jon Guthery, will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Village Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Timmy loved life! He loved Jesus..”his” Jesus. Timmy inherited his Momma’s dimples which were beautifully deep, and his smile was contagious. Timmy’s heart and soul were filled with the purest of love for others. He never met a stranger, and if he met you, he would always remember your name. For Timmy, being the center of attention, was the grandest event ever. Life threw him a curve ball several years ago and he had been sick on and off. Timmy truly, was the strongest man, our family and others has ever known. A few more of his favorite things would include, drinking coffee, going riding in the car with loud music and windows down, watching Gaither Gospel Music videos on his tablet, with hands raised in praise, and Alabama Crimson Tide. Although our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that Timmy is in the arms of “his” Jesus, and has a new body free of pain and suffering. Timmy is preceded in death by his parents, Patricia Vickery Sharpton, Henry B. Sharpton, and Judy Pollard; grandparents, Austin and Bonnie Vickery, Grover and Della Sharpton; special aunts and uncles, Royce and Virginia Washburn, Gloria Vickery, Glenda Barnett, and Donnie Vickery. He is survived by sisters, Pamela Campbell (Tommy), Gadsden; Kimberly Davis (Russell), Meridianville; nieces, Madison Pelkey, Mallory Graham, Kendall Davis, Bethany Davis; nephew, Tyler Davis; Special Uncle, James Vickery, and several very special cousins, that have been more like siblings to Timmy. Pallbearers will be: Russell Davis, Andrew Pelkey, Kyle Graham, Chris Vickery, Donnie Vickery, Johnathan Prophitt. A Very Special Thank You to: Station One and ALL Staff, Departments and Caregivers of Cherokee County Health and Rehab Center.
