Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Waller

Elizabeth Ann Waller, 73, of Rainbow City, Alabama, passed away peacefully on April 22, surrounded by the love of her family. Elizabeth was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend whose life was defined by her strength, intelligence, and unwavering love for those closest to her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael Wayne Waller, who passed away in 2002, and her cherished grandchild, Sunny Eliza Waller. She leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold her memory close, including her sons, Michael Wayne Waller Jr. and Matthew Brian Waller (Lori Waller). She was a proud and deeply devoted grandmother to Caleb Kent Waller, Aleigha Grace Waller, and James Paul Waller, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life. Elizabeth is also survived by her siblings, Steve Radcliffe (Sue), Charles Radcliffe (Jane), Gary Radcliffe (Kim), and Shelly Radcliffe, along with extended family and friends who loved her dearly. Elizabeth dedicated much of her professional life to healthcare, serving as a laboratory director at Riverview Regional Medical Center. She was highly respected in her field for her knowledge, leadership, and commitment to excellence. Her work touched countless lives, and she carried that same care and compassion into her home and family. Outside of her career, Elizabeth found her greatest happiness in the simple, meaningful moments—especially time spent with her grandbabies, whom she adored beyond measure. She loved to read and could often be found with a book in hand, always eager to learn or escape into a good story. She was also a passionate fan of the Auburn Tigers, proudly cheering them on and sharing that excitement with her family. Elizabeth will be remembered as one of the smartest people you could ever meet, someone whose wisdom and guidance shaped those around her. She had a quiet strength, a loving heart, and a presence that made people feel safe, understood, and cared for. To her family, she was not only a mother and grandmother, but a best friend, a source of comfort, and the foundation that held them together. Her legacy is one of love, resilience, and deep devotion to family. Though she will be profoundly missed, her spirit will live on in the lives she touched and in the memories that will be cherished forever. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 27, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the funeral service immediately following. Burial will take place at Lee Cemetery.
