Mr. Tyler Sharp

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Village Chapel, for Tyler Sharp, age 25, of Gadsden, who passed away July 15, 2020. Reverends John Richey and Buddy O’Bryant will officiate. Burial will follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Southside. Village Chape Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Tyler was born and raised in South Gadsden. As a baby he attended Damascus Baptist Church and was currently a member of Coosa Valley Baptist Church. Tyler loved being on the farm riding tractors, bush hogging, riding his 3-wheeler and doing things for others. Tyler loved his family, friends, and church family. He was preceded in death by his Papa, Knox Sharp Sr.; great grandmothers, Elizabeth Steele and Artie Wood. He is survived by his parents, Knox Jr. and Traci Sharp; sister, Jessica Sharp; a special little dog, Toby; grandparents, Joy Sharp, Ken and Nancy McBurnett; aunts and uncles, Karen (James) Alexander, David (Tricia) McBurnett; a host of great aunts, uncles and cousins. Pallbearers will be, Phillip Furman, Colton Peterson, Ronnie Brackett, Chris Campbell, James Alexander, Brandon and Tyler McBurnett. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Fire Station #7, A-Med, and Riverview Regional E.R. The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:30 until time of service.
