Mr. Ray Morrow Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2022, at Village Chapel for Ray Morrow, of Southside, who passed to his eternal Home on Sunday, May 29, 2022. Reverends Cliff Cook and Ray Wain will officiate. Burial will follow at Williams Southside Memorial Park. Ray was a local business man and owner of Ray’s Computers in Rainbow City. He was an avid Alabama fan (Roll Tide), and Nascar fan. Ray was a racecar driver himself, winning multiple dirt track races and championships. He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Artell Morrow; daughter, Denise Cook; and uncle and best friend, Max Osborn. Ray is survived by his wife and love of his life, Darlene Morrow; son, Joey (LaDeena) Morrow; chosen son, Justin Jacobs (Gabrielle Keel); grandchildren, Ashley Morrow, Hayley (Justin) Weaver, Brooke Morrow, Meghan Morrow, Nicole Garner (Thomas Copeland), Zane Calhoun and Jennia Jacobs; great-grandchildren, Abigail Morrow, Ashton and Graysen Weaver, and Zayden Ray Copeland; aunt, Cora Osborn; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Connie Roebuck, Jackie and Sandy Wain, Ray and Ludovina Wain; special neighbors, Donald and Sue Harris, and Tommy and Brooke Ponder. Pallbearers will be Jackie Wain, Jimmy Roebuck, Thomas Copeland, Tommy Ponder, Todd Lumpkin, Mark Harris. Special thanks to customers of Ray’s Computers, Exchange Bank, Super Bee Pharmacy, Hope Hospice, Dr. Jason Junkins, Michael Gross, and Central Avenue Missionary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the time of the service Friday.
