Mrs. Linda Darnell Roden Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2022, at Village Chapel for Linda Darnell Roden, 80, of Gadsden, who died Thursday, June 9, 2022. Rev. Larry Garrard will officiate. Burial will follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Linda was born in Gadsden and lived there for most of her life. She, along with her husband Konnie, owned Nanny’s Crafts in downtown Gadsden. She loved crocheting, quilting, and crafting in all forms. Linda was a mother to everyone she knew and loved. She was preceded in death by her husband, Konnie Lee Roden; daughter, Cullisia Ann Roden; parents, Curtis and Bertie Lou Darnell; and several siblings. Mrs. Roden is survived by her sons, Cullen Roden and Mark (Roxanne) Roden; grandchildren, Christopher Roden and T.J. (Alyssa) Roden; great-granddaughters, Elizabeth and Katlyn; siblings, Pat Mitchell of Marietta, GA, and Gloria Simons of Soperton, GA; special pet dog, Banjo Eugene; special friends, Emma LeCroy and Diane Vickery; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Christopher Roden, T.J. Roden, Scott Thacker, Dwayne Mitchell, Kyle Stewart, and Pat Winn. Special thanks to Collinsville Nursing Home staff and Southern Care Hospice. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the service Sunday.
