Mr. Javis Kyle Moon

August 21, 1944 - August 10, 2017

With great sorrow, we announce that Javis Kyle Moon went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 10, 2017. The family will receive friends Sunday, from 6-8 PM, and funeral service will be held at 3 PM, Monday, August 14, 2017 with Rev. Buddy O’Bryant officiating. Burial will follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Village Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Moon was a loving and hard working man. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Annette Argo Moon; son, Steven Javis Moon; parents, Johnny and Ruby Moon; brothers, Johnny Lorian Moon and Richard Moon. Kyle was survived by his sons, Chris and Jeff Moon; daughter, Lynn Moon; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Wanda (Jerry) Johnson, Thebe Johnson, Betty (Stanley) Jones, Grant Moon, Sheila (Terry) Laughlin, Phyllis (Troy) Groover; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to the family to help cover expenses. Pallbearers will be Phillip Moon, Joseph Pinkston, Randall Shirey, Tim Clark, Phillip Laughlin, and Bo Mitchell. Honorary pallbearers are the Black Creek Fire Department.
