Mr. Dave Justin Beck

Memorial service will be held at 12 PM, Monday, December 17, 2018, at Lester Memorial First United Methodist Church for Dave Justin Beck, 34, Attalla, who died Friday, December 14, 2018. Rev. Joe Hastings and Rev. Tammy Jackson will officiate. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM, Monday, at Red Hill Cemetery, Ivalee. Village Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Dave was a loving husband, father, son, and brother who loved spending time with his family. During his extended illness, Dave discovered the depth of grace and mercy from Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Jerry Maynor; and grandmother, Dorothy Barnes. He is survived by his wife, Jami Beck; daughter, Madeline Beck; parents, Harvey and Lana Beck; sister, Audra (Blake) Wilkes; sister-in-law, Whitney Scott; nieces, Lexi and Brooklyn Bryant; nephew, Favor Wilkes; grandparents, Gary and Paula Beck and Marlyn and Patsy Galloway; parents-in-law, Frankie and Kristy Barnes; special friends, Matt Chandler and Karen Beason; and a host of extended family. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dave’s name may be made to the benevolence funds at Lester Memorial United Methodist Church or Gadsden First United Methodist Church. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Special thanks to Amedisys Hospice, RN Tyler Pence, Brittany, Ashley, Tish, Fresenius Kidney Care (Attalla), and all the family and friends who have been supportive during Dave’s sickness. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until the time of the service, Monday, at Lester Memorial UMC.
